What is the difference between gel polish and builder gel?
Gel polish gives your nails a light-cured colour finish. Builder gel creates a more structured overlay and can be used for natural nail overlays, infills or selected extension services. Your technician can help you choose the option that suits your nails and preferred finish.
Is BIAB the same as builder gel?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle and is The GelBottle’s branded builder gel range. Builder gel is the wider treatment category. If you want a particular brand or system, please confirm it with your chosen salon before booking.
Should I book an overlay, infill or extensions?
An overlay follows your natural nail length. An infill maintains a suitable existing builder gel set as your nails grow. Extensions add length. Tell your salon what product you already have on your nails so the team can allow for removal or advise on the right appointment.
Does builder gel include a manicure?
The menu has separate options with and without a manicure. Choose a service marked “with Manicure” if you would like manicure and cuticle care included.
How do I look after my nails between appointments?
Use cuticle oil regularly, wear gloves for cleaning and avoid using your nails as tools. Do not pick or peel off the product. Ask your technician when to return for maintenance or professional removal.
